Booking Terms for Sporia’s Abroad/Domestic Sports Tour or any other sports events/services

Payment Policy:

1. To ‘Confirm Your Booking’, a minimum of 10% of the Total Booking Value must be deposited within 24 hours of booking the trip.
2. 30% of the Total Billing Amount to be deposited as the booking amount at the time of the booking.
3. The remaining 70% of the Total Billing Amount to be deposited before 30 days of the departure date.
4. Failure to adhere to the Payment Policy can lead to a cancellation of the booking without any prior notice to the booking person.

Cancellation Policy:

1. Any cancellations made up to 30 days prior to the departure date will attract a 20% cancellation fee of the total ticket value.
2. Any cancellations made within 30 days of the departure date will attract a 100% cancellation fee of the total ticket value.
3. Failure to pay the 30% amount within a month of the booking or 3 months prior to the travel date, whichever is sooner, will result in the booking being canceled without any prior intimation, and the amount received by Sporia will be forfeited with no refund.

General Policies:

1. It is mandatory for all guests to carry valid identification proof at the time of check-in. The identification proof accepted are Voter’s ID Card, Passport, and Driver’s License. PAN cards are not accepted as valid ID proof.
2. Sporia reserves the right to take strict actions against a guest if any action by the guest is deemed inappropriate by the tour captain or if any inappropriate behavior is brought to the attention of the tour captain.
3. Certain tours may have different policies during different times of the year, and our policy may not apply to them.
4. Guests shall be liable to pay for any damages, except normal wear and tear to an asset, if any.
5. Certain policies are booking specific and will be informed to the customer while making the booking.
6. We reserve the right to change these terms at any time. Any such changes will be in effect immediately when posted on our website, in our brochures, or otherwise brought to your attention.

Circumstances Beyond Our Control:

We cannot pay any compensation, reimburse expenses, or cover losses for any amount or otherwise accept responsibility if, as a result of circumstances beyond our control, we have to change your tour after booking, or we cannot supply your tour as agreed, or you suffer any loss or damage of any description. Such circumstances include, but are not limited to, war, threat of war, airport closures, epidemic, natural or nuclear disaster, terrorist activity, civil unrest, industrial dispute, and bad weather.

Your Responsibility:

1. You are responsible for your actions and their effect on others. If we, or another person in authority, believe your actions could upset, annoy or disturb other customers or our staff, or put them at risk, or damage property, or if you are unfit to travel, we may end your tour and terminate your contract. You will be prevented from using your booked accommodation, transport, and any other travel arrangements forming part of your booking without any refund, compensation, or any other costs.
2. You are responsible for your safety and the condition of the property you occupy. We are not responsible for accidents that occur due to irresponsible behavior or because of glass, china, or similar items left in a hazardous condition.
3. We expect that you will drink alcohol responsibly. We will not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage you suffer as a result of your judgment being impaired by alcohol.
4. You and the members of your traveling party are jointly and individually liable for any damage to the accommodation, furniture, apparatus, or other materials located within the accommodation, together with any legal costs we incur in pursuing a claim.
5. If your behavior or the behavior of any members of your traveling party causes a diversion, we and/or the carrier will hold you and those members jointly and individually liable for all costs incurred as a result of that diversion.

Disclaimer of Responsibility for Property Services:

1. We act as a booking platform to facilitate the reservation of accommodations at various properties (“Properties”). Our role is limited to facilitating the booking process, which includes securing reservations on your behalf.
2. The services offered at each Property are solely the responsibility of the respective Property owner or manager. We do not independently verify the accuracy of this information.
3. We do not guarantee the availability, quality, or adequacy of services, amenities, or inclusions offered at the Properties.
4. We shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, injury, inconvenience, or any other claim arising from or in connection with your stay at a Property.
5. Any disputes or issues related to your stay at a Property should be addressed directly with the Property owner or manager.

*Medical Self Declaration:*

Trips organized by Sporia take place in remote and less-developed regions, with limited means of rapid evacuation, medical supplies, and facilities. A poor state of health can greatly increase the dangers and risks incurred on these trips. Therefore, Sporia requires that all guests are examined by a physician and properly immunized for the destination(s). We also require each traveler to carry the medical certificate duly completed by a doctor.

Refund Policy:

In the event of cancellation of tour/travel services/activity/experience due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason(s), we must be notified that there will be no refund of any amount under any circumstance. Any canceled service or experience not carried out due to any reason where Sporia is responsible will be refunded in the form of a credit note only that can be used in next trip. There will be no cash refund under any circumstances.

Defamation:

Traveler agrees not to attack/criticize Sporia or any of its employees, associates, or partners publicly, including but not limited to public forums, Google reviews, Facebook reviews, and social networking websites. In case of a breach of this contract, the traveler understands that there will be legal recourse subject to a minimum amount of INR 100,000 per breach as damages to the company.

Liability Declaration:

I am aware of the risks and dangers related to the tour I have booked with Sporia, especially regarding the terrain, weather, high altitude, and desolate nature. I am aware that there could be accidents leading to injury or illness. Death too cannot be ruled out while undertaking the tour. I confirm that I am physically and mentally capable of participating in the activity. My participation is voluntary, and I will assume financial responsibility for personal injury, accidents, illness, and damage to or loss of personal property as a result of any incident or accident that may occur.

Arbitration Clause:

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this contract shall be resolved by arbitration in Uttar Pradesh. The arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding on both parties. The parties agree that there will be no litigation and the arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in Hindi. Each party has to bear his cost arbitrator.

 

If You Have A Complaint:

We aim to provide the best tour possible. However, if you are not satisfied, please complain as soon as possible to the relevant person (e.g., accommodation management or transport supplier). If they cannot help, you must tell your tour Representative, and we will do everything reasonably possible to sort the problem out. If you are still not satisfied, or if you do not have the services of a Representative, you must contact us at the given Email ID or Phone Number. No complaints or refund requests for the same will be entertained after the tour ends.
